Hi, I loved your site. I decided to send a pic of my son's beautiful doberman
"Blossom". In Australia we don't dock their ears or tails. Their ears are
excellent for seeing what they are thinking. Sometimes she looks like the
flying nun when she's happy and relaxed, when she's cautious she folds them
back right behind her head, some times she can stick them right up in the air
like a german shepherd. I call them Origami ears because they take on so many
shapes according to her temper at the time.
They are amazing dogs with such intelligence. I have never seen such a devoted mother as Bloss was. When her puppies went to their new homes she spent six weeks under my bed with what I could only call doggy depression. We kept one pup and now have another one of hers which was returned by my daughter. They are an extended family and very boisterous lot as the father and grandmother are also mine. Well, must go, it's lovely to meet another animal lover. Good luck........(I signed your guest book) Regards, Jenny Scott (Australia )
Heres a pic of Felicity. She's a Chinese Shar Pei. Check out her home page at

job on your page!!
Thanks, Lisa
Hi this is Shadow who belongs to June and Graham. They live in South Australia
and are friends of mine. I told them about your site and sent the URL. One of
the other tuffydog friends, Blossom, is my dog. I've been meaning to send you a
pic of her 2 pups that live with us, just have to scan it off. Shadow is a
beautiful dog adored by his owners. They are dobie lovers of course like me.
Best wishes, Jenny
Hi. A year ago my husband and I took our 2 kids to the local animal shelter to
pick out a pet. We looked at EVERY dog and puppy there. The kids were looking
for a cute puppy, my husband was looking for a guard dog, and I just wanted
something that wouldn't pee on my floor or eat out of the garbage can. That's
when we found Bandit. At the time he was 6 months old and in bad shape. He's a
Dobe and Rottie mix, not a small little puppy. We all fell in love with him.
That's when we were told how abused and beaten he'd been and that it would take
a lot of work to turn him into a "good dog". We took him home anyway, under
fed, under trained and under loved. Now 11 1/2 months later he's the best dog
I've ever seen. He loves the kids (ages 3 & 7), guards them and the house with
his life, has learned all sorts of tricks and and is as healthy as can be. When
I look into those brown eyes I can't believe someone had every tortured such a
wonderful creature. He's not just a dog, he's family.
PS. Before we went looking for a pet I gave the family a bunch of rules
like :
#1 No dog on the couch or chairs or beds. #2 No dog in the kitchen when I'm
cooking or we're eating dinner. #3 No dog people food for the dog. #4 No
playing catch in the house. Needless to say all those rules went out the window
when Bandit came to live here. He has his very own chair in the living room, and
he sleeps with me!
